the hood with swan neck pediment and foliate carved columns, with conforming columns flanking the wavy top trunk door, banded inlay, on block plinth with bracket feet, the painted dial with scene of a girl with her dog to the arch, the spandrels painted with buildings, subsidiary seconds ring and calendar aperture, with indistinct signature for HEYWOOD WREXHAM, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement -- 93½in. (237.5cm.) high
