An angel with a victor’s crown and putti in the clouds

Domenico Tiepolo drew many compositions of flying angels. None of them appears to represent a specific narrative or to be connected to a painted decoration. The angel holding the wreath on this sheet presents strong affinities with the representation of Virtue in a drawing in private collection in Wuerttemberg (see Tiepolo.
