A PAIR OF LARGE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN JARDINIÈRES
19TH CENTURY
Each jardinière is enameled in bright colors with court gentlemen and warriors in conversation around tables enclosed by elaborate formal and floral-patterned borders and a poetic inscription describing the figures, all between molded Buddhist lion handles. Each base is pierced for drainage.
