The pierced brass galleried white marble top above a conforming case inlaid with parquetry panels and fitted with three drawers, the top fitted as a writing drawer, on cabriole legs joined by a similarly veneered undertier ending in scrolled sabots on casters, stamped 'JB TUART' to the interior of drawer, with printed paper label inscribed 'Hodgson Bequest 571'
