The case with elaborate appliques of wreaths, scales, rosettes and anthemion leaves, corner mounts of torches supported by eagles on a stepped base with paw feet, the bezel with guilloche laurel leaf and beaded borders enclosing chapter ring with engraved center of sunburst and scales, and engraved hands, the movement with anchor escapement thread, suspended pendulum striking the hours by means of a count-wheel, the case signed 'Thomire À Paris', the movement signed 'L. Moine A Paris'
