Luna, identified by the crescent moon at her forehead, is depicted flying frontally. Her tunic is splayed at the hem, and she holds a torch in her lowered hand. Her characteristic billowing veil arches over her head (velificatio), held in place in her raised right hand. The gem is mounted as a ring in a 19th century gilt silver setting.
