With associated Rouge Royale marble breakfront top, above a rocaille and foliate carved frieze concealing two drawers, the curved and panelled sides with conforming decoration, the panelled doors profusely carved with shells, C-scrolls and foliage, enclosing a shelf with paper label inscribed '2341 / Un buffet / Louis XIV'
