Two porphyry-ground vases with relief decoration "2 vases à bandeau bas-relief porphyré-peintre Drouet" are recorded in the Sèvres sales register for 1 October 1793 (VI'.3.229°). The models for the relief decoration in wax and plaster are in the collections of Sèvres-Cité de la céramique (inv. MNC21701 and MNC21702).

Lignereux was a French firm set up in Paris and London in 1787. It formed a partnership with Dominique Daguerre and signed exclusive agreements with Sèvres and Wedgwood, among others. Dieudonné Kinable was active at the Palais Royal from the reign of Louis XVI until around 1815, making clocks, often using Sèvres porcelain.
