                                            A LOUIS XV ORMOLU-MOUNTED TULIPWOOD COFFRE-A-BIJOUX
MID-18TH CENTURY
The serpentine hinged top with mirrored reverse enclosing a blue velvet-lined interior with compartments, above a fall-front with quarter-veneered cartouche enclosing three drawers, the sides and back with conforming decoration, the base with waved apron and drawer to one side, on cabriole legs, joined by an undertier, with foliate sabots, inscribed in chalk '2932', with part of an old collection label, with paper label inscribed '14174 / 31407'
37 ½ in. (95 cm.) high; 15 ¾ in. (40 cm.) wide; 15 in. (38 cm.) deep
