The larger carved with lattice decoration and top handle, signed 'BOISSIER A PARIS' on the brass lock, the smaller a wooden and leather imitation trunk, with brass plaque engraved 'BOISSIER' on top, the brass lock engraved 'BTE SDGD / V.P.', with leather side handles and brass stud detailing
The larger: 4 3/8 in. (11 cm.) high; 10 ¾ in. (27.4 cm.) wide; 8 ¼ in. (21 cm.) deep; the smaller; 4 7/8 in. (12.5 cm.) high; 6 1/8 in. (15.5 cm.) wide; 4 7/8 in. (12.4 cm.) deep
