EXPLORER II MODEL, REF. 1655, CASE NO. 8’235’689

The reference 1655 originally launched in 1971 and was specifically designed for cave explorers. This model features a fixed bezel with 24-hour display and a 24-hour hand that can be set to distinguish day from night hours. This model is known as the "Steve McQueen" amongst collectors. The orange 24-hour hand on this example has retained its attractive original color. The Explorer II reference 1655 remains an icon and this watch would be a great addition to a watch collection.
