This well-preserved example of the Pilos type has an elongated dome, a carinated band around the lower edge, and a curving W-shaped triple plume-holder. It features a short neck-guard and two forward-curving cheek-guards. For a similar example in the Nicholson Museum, Sydney, but without the elaborate plume-holder, see no. H279 in Hixenbaugh, op. cit.
