An unusual conundrum fan, the leaf painted in false cabriolet style with a narrow band with a medley of objects: a miniature of an eye, a locket with monogram CC, a vignette of a monkey riffling through a trunk of playing cards, a violin, a portrait of a young girl signed J.C.drawn and inv.t and dated February 8, 1791, and a black mask, a river landscape with a bridge, the lower band painted deep blue and decorated with gold spots, with ivory sticks - 11in.
