probably Yorkshire, the cowherd and milkmaid standing at the shoulder of each cow, a recumbent calf at their feet, on shaped rectangular bases, painted in colours, the cows with black reserved mulberry purple patches -- 15cm. high, circa 1800-20 (minor restorations)
