Portrait of Colonel William Harcourt, 3rd Earl Harcourt (1743-1830), bust-length, in a red coat and white stock

The present portrait is a previously unrecorded variant of Gardner's portrait of William Harcourt, 3rd Earl Harcourt. Two other versions are known, both of which depict the sitter in a red coat with blue facings, for the other versions see Jeffares, op.cit.
