The canted rectangular base inset with a Japanese lacquer panel gilt with a river landscape, mounted with an ormolu two-light candelabrum and a porcelain inkwell, sander and oval dish, the ormolu border with Greek-key handles, swags and writing implements, a leather inventory label inscribed 3344, the candelabrum 19th century
