A fine appliqué coverlet, the centre panel of ribbed white cotton applied with a central rossette with four sets of foliage and flowers growing from a ground with embroidered silk highlights, with other motifs, all of printed cotton, within an inner frame of striped printed cotton in shades of ochre, mauve and dark purple, the outer frame also of purple stripes, interspersed with sprigs of single tulips--87 x 98in.
