A sampler by Sarah Pitther, 1817 worked in coloured silks in shades of brown and green, with a verse "For real worth let friendship...", bordered at the top by an elegant house with gate-houses and railings, with a lion and unicorn beneath the verse, surrounded by stylised flowers, trees and animals--24 x 23.5in. (60 x 59cm.), framed
