We are grateful to Fred G. Meijer for for tentatively proposing an attribution to Wurzer on the basis of photographs, which is based on the partial signature or inscription on the latter painting and with similarities to a number of paintings given to the artist listed in the RKD photo archives. One such example sold at Koller, Zurich, 18-21 September 2007, lot 3106 (private communication, 22 October 2024).
