A LOUIS XV ORMOLU-MOUNTED TULIPWOOD AND KINGWOOD BUREAU PLAT BY PIERRE II MIGEON, CIRCA 1740 The shaped rectangular top with a later gilt tooled leather writing surface within a feather-banded border, the ormolu rim mount meeting in rocaille mounts at the corners, above three frieze drawers and opposing false drawers, on cabriole legs with foliate sabots, stamped EHB, and MIGEON JME 31 ½ in. (80 cm.) high, 70 ¾ in. (180 cm.) wide, 35 ½ in. (90.5 cm.) deep
