THE PORCELAIN LATE MING DYNASTY, MID-17TH CENTURY, THE MOUNTS GERMANY OR NETHERLANDS, EARLY 18TH CENTURY
The lobed melon-form body painted to each side with figures in a mountainous landscape, the lobed cover painted with panels, the ormolu finial as a mermaid, tethered to the handle and spout, on an ormolu foot, the underside unglazed, with an old collection label printed 'M.G.'
