Lot Essay

Riet Neerincx (1925-2012) worked for over sixty years in the field of applied arts and design. As a curator, Neerincx led the Applied Arts department as the Gemeente Museum in Arnhem, organising over a hundred temporary exhibitions, including Lucie Rie, Hans Coper in 1967. She was also a leading jewellery designer, producing mainly abstract brooches and rings in both gold and silver.
