signed on the Y-shaped stand Smith & Beck, 6 Coleman St. LONDON, with rack and pinion coarse and micrometer fine focusing, mechanical stage, sub-stage abbe condenser, additional wheel condenser, bull's eye condenser, live-box, stage forceps, eight objectives (five by Smith & Beck, three by Anderson Optician London, in cans), and other items, in accessory case, the stand with large plano-concave mirror, raised on twin tapering supports arranged so as to rotate on the stand, in mahogany case with brass carrying handle -- 20½in. (52cm.) high
