signed on the base NACHET ET FILS, 17 rue St. Severin, Paris, with rack and pinion focusing for the upper body-tube, the lower body-tube similarly adjustable, the limb attached to a column at the rear of the stand, the main column with micrometer wheel fine adjustment and mechanical stage with sprung slide holders and vernier scale, the lower circuit stage with silvered scale divided 180°(x2), the condenser adjustable by rack and pinion, with plano-concave mirror, the lower pillar with moulded base and horseshoe stand, with three additional eyepieces and one objective, in mahogany case -- 17¼in.
