Christie’s is delighted to present this resplendent full-set rose gold reference 5980/1R-001 Nautilus Flyback Chronograph. One of Patek Philippe’s rare and highly sought-after complicated Nautilus watches, it is fitted with a superb black dial with rose gold hour indexes that provides a ravishing and distinctive aesthetic to the model. Fitted with the self winding CH 28-520 C movement which has a maximum power reserve of 55 hours. The chronograph has a 60-minute counter as well as a 12-hour mono-counter.

The Flyback Chronograph reference 5980 was first launched in 2006 as one of the models introduced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus. It was the first Nautilus model to feature a chronograph complication. The present rose gold version of reference 5980 was introduced in 2013. It is powered by the self-winding caliber CH 28-520 C movement fitted in a two-piece case with sapphire crystal display back and of course classic Nautilus styling.
