Lot Essay

Reference 16618, the all-gold Submariner, was launched in 1988, fitted with the caliber 3135 movement and quick-set calendar functions. The model was available with a variety of different dials, however dials with diamond and sapphire-set indexes can only be found on champagne and silver colored dials.
