A MUGHAL THREE STRAND SPINEL AND NATURAL PEARL NECKLACE
With forty-five polished spinel beads, forty-eight round and near-round natural pearls ranging from approximately 13.20 mm to 9.90 mm, yellow gold, circa 1750, braided pink and gold cord, eight spinels inscribed
SSEF, 2022, report no. 126236: Spinels, Tajikistan, no indications of heating, none to moderate amount of oil in fissures at the time of testing; Natural pearls, saltwater, with appendix letter regarding this Exceptional Spinel and Pearl Necklace
