Launched in 2006, Patek Philippe unveiled its first Annual Calendar Flyback Chronograph wristwatch designated as reference 5960. This complicated timepiece impressively measured 40.5 mm. and had the additional functions of a power reserve and day/night indicator.
The dial has symmetrical configuration with a grey base with a large chronograph register at 6 o'clock. Interestingly, the register hands are double-stacked with matching printing to provide a clean and uncluttered design. The annual calendar windows are located at the top of the dial between the hour markers and are in trapezoidal shape, adding to the modern and sporty aesthetic of the watch. Powering the timepiece is the Patek Philippe caliber CH28-520 IRM QA 24H which consists of 456-parts and has a 55-hour power reserve, an impressive feat in Patek Philippe's technical abilities.
