Lot Essay

Inscribed with a funerary dedication, "To the Shades of the Departed (and) for Marcus Pontius Longinus, son of Marcus, (who) lived 6 years, 6 months, 11 days, 2 hours". Decorated with two tripods in deep relief and two griffins below the inscription.
