A rare 1984 ¼-inch reel-to-reel recording
of two performances at a Thames Rowing Club in Putney in January 1966, the first session recorded on Januar 15th, 1966 includes nine songs:

The second session recorded on January 29th, 1966 contains ten songs:

These recordings, dated two weeks apart, demonstrate ...the great variety and confidence of a band which consistently renewed its repertoire.. 1984's Dave Dilloway described these recordings as ...domestic quality, single microphone recordings of early-era 1984...It's mostly bluesy material with some soul and Beatles songs. While the quality is basic, the sound is intelligible, although there isn't a large amount of identifiable Brian guitarwork. That came later in the band's history, when we included covers of Cream and Hendrix. Brian's solo vocals on 'Yesterday'... are quite clear, however...
