A Zemaitis Les Paul style electric guitar, single cutaway mahogany body in a natural finish, Grover machineheads, twenty-four fret fingerboard with dot and diamond inlays, two Humbucker pickups, two selector switches, four rotary controls, a white metal oval plaque attached to the front of the headstock engraved P.GAGE, and hardshell case -- this guitar belonged to Peter Gage, a founder member of Vinegar Joe in 1971 together with Elkie Brooks and Robert Palmer
