Lot Essay

The present amateur photos were taken of Monroe by a nearby fan during a soccer match between the USA and Israel at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn, New York. Capturing Monroe in candid moments looking so good, these rare photographs had been previously unpublished before they were last sold at Christie’s, New York, 25 July 2003, lot 3.
Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA, graded "Type I".
