A pair of Royal Worcester oviform vases and covers
painted by Harry Davis in the style of Corot with rustic figures in woodland with buildings in the distance, signed, within oval gilt panels issuing raised gilt urns and scrolling foliage, each reverse with a shell among scrolls suspending husk swags on a scattered blue ground, with gilt wreath handles and leaf-moulded finials, shape 2729, puce marks, date codes for 1926 -- 34.5cm. high (one finial broken and restuck, slight wear to gilt)
