A Minton pâte-sur-pâte rectangular tray
by Louis Marc Solon, decorated in plain and tinted parian with a maiden skipping through ropes held by four putti, signed L Solon 78, the border enriched in silver and gilt and moulded with scrolls terminating in leaves and flowerheads within shell thumb-pieces, impressed marks, shape 1765, date code for 1878, gilt Prince of Wales Feathers mark for the Paris Exhibition 1878 -- 33cm. wide (chips to one thumbpiece and rim)
