A George Jones majolica oval dish
the handle modelled as a fox's head and forepaws, it's brush curling to the opposite side, moulded to the interior with a fan of leaves on a pale blue ground, the underside in tortoishell glazes, shape 2240, blue pad mark and printed registration lozenge for 1869 -- 28.4cm. wide (chip to ear)
