Further details
The collector is a Southeast Asian Chinese businessman active in mainland China in the 1980s. Due to his interest in Chinese paintings and calligraphy, he acquired works from various antique shops and galleries across the country. He also received many gifted works directly from many artists, mainly from Shanghai and Jiangsu, and in particular he had a close relationship with Huang Yongyu.
