A Berlin (K.P.M.) classical group
probably representing Hercules, the bearded demi-god seated on the pelt of a lion above a block of marble, wearing a cuirass and cape and holding a sheild, at his side a loosely draped maiden, perhaps representing Fortune, on a mound above a circular base moulded with a wreath, blue sceptre and orb marks -- 45cm. high, late 19th century (small chip to base)
