A matched pair of Meissen figures of a singing shepherd and companion
modelled standing, he holds a song sheet out, wearing a claret blue lined short cape, blue flowered jacked and lilac breeches, she holds a posy, wearing a hat, similar cape, blue bodice, skirt and apron, each with a recumbent lamb at their feet on tree-stump mound bases moulded with turquoise, pink and gilt scrolls, blue crossed swords marks, incised No. 5, Pressnummern 28 and 46 -- 26cm. and 27cm. high, late 19th century (damages)
