Custom-made chassis etched DK2, with fibreglass body panels and arm shields, fitted with a Honda 750 engine and 31 inch Hoosier racing tyres, a set of prop plastic, resin and fibreglass cannons, machine guns and grappling hook launchers mounted to either side of the front wheel and a prop laser targeting unit above the right hand grip, the vehicle’s radiator and hydraulics located behind the saddle, the braking system controlled at the left handle and right pedal, the saddle, knee rests and body panels fitted with black foam padding for rider comfort, together with a later metal support for display; accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Propstore and a facsimile certificate of authenticity from Warner Bros.

A hero Batpod vehicle built for Christian Bale as Batman in the 2008 Warner Bros. production The Dark Knight and its 2012 sequel The Dark Knight Rises, the final instalment of Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed Dark Knight trilogy.

Further Details
The vehicle was decommissioned by Warner Bros’ prior to its original sale in 2016 and is sold in non-functional “rolling-only” condition with all fluids drained and the battery, fuel tank and throttle controls removed. As such, this work is a non-functional collector’s item and is not fit for purpose as a functional, or roadworthy vehicle.
