Manufactured from circa 2000 until 2016, the Rolex Daytona reference 116518 is a refined and dressy take on the classic sports chronograph wristwatch from the Maison. Featuring 18k yellow gold cases on leather straps with deployant clasps, the model features Rolex's then newly updated 'in-house' automatic chronograph caliber 4130. Over its production span, the model was offered in an amalgamation of dial configurations, including classic champagne, black, and white dials, along with more distinctive options such as meteorite, mother of pearl, and racing-style Arabic numeral dials in colors like black, white (such as in the present lot), or champagne with red accents.
