In the Louis XVI style, the top inset with a black tooled leather surface, the frieze with three ormolu-framed drawers opposed by dummy drawers, each end with a leather-lined slide, on tapering square legs mounted with oak festoons and terminating in foliate feet, spuriously stamped 'JME J.H.RIESENER'
