Each with gilt Buddhist lion finial, each of the six sides painted with a large famille rose panel of noble families at various pursuits in terraced gardens, within gilt scroll surrounds, the neck alternating panels of songbirds and sepia landscapes, all on an iron-red, gilt and grisaille cell-pattern ground, the matched covers with trapezoidal panels of birds
