MARK OF CARTIER, NEW YORK, FIRST HALF 20TH CENTURY
The travel clock rounded rectangular, the cover engraved with monogram ACL within a ring of diamonds, with diamond and black enamel thumbpiece, the pop-out A-frame dial with gold Arabic numbers and hands, the back with concealed cylindrical lipstick, the pin tray circular with white enamel rim and geometric pattern to the center, engraved on the reverse Longevity, marked on clock Cartier and numbered 2828, the pin tray marked Cartier New York 14K;
Together with two translucent orange Bakelite combs, the first by Van Cleef & Arpels with gold basketweave mount, marked 18K VCA NY 30V3-54 and with matching Bakelite cover, the second with plain unmarked silver-gilt mount
