Rectangular with outset corners, overall with marquetry panels depicting vases, writing utensils, books, music and flowers, the fitted frieze drawer with a leather-lined writing surface, over a tambour shutter, on guttae-headed square tapering legs and block feet, stamped 'N. PETIT' twice, an old label inside the drawer inscribed in black '3399'
