Bo Diddley used this style of guitar strap throughout his career with a very similar strap featured on the 1970 The Black Gladiator album cover. This particular strap appears to date from a later era and most notably Diddley can be seen wearing it on stage with Ronnie Wood during their 'Gunslingers' Tour, 1987-1988.
