Lot Essay

Consistently ranked as one of the top movie characters of all time, Al Pacino's performance as Cuban drug lord, Tony Montana in Scarface was a career-defining role for Pacino. Upon release, the movie was critically panned for being overly violent but Scarface later received critical acclaim and won Pacino his eighth Golden Globe Best Actor nomination. This script, with Pacino's brief but poignant handwritten annotations, gives the reader an insight into Pacino's creation of the award-winning character of Tony Montana, the character which spawned the memorable and often repeated line Say hello to my little friend.
