Further details
The current collector is an art enthusiast who sponsored the “Bayu Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition” at the Guangzhou Museum in 1989. The exhibition title plaque was written by Li Xiongcai, through which the collector came to know the artist. Between 1989 and 1990, the collector acquired several works directly from Li Xiongcai, including the three pieces now being offered, which have remained in his collection since the acquisition.
