Lot Essay

Reference 43032 was introduced in 1984 in the brand's Les Complications collection. The Ref. 43031 and its skeletonized sibling Ref. 43032 were conceived in the early 1980s and it is believed that their production run spanned 23 years. It is believed that only about a 100 pieces were made each year in all metals with platinum being the rarest – estimated at just 150 pieces.

The skeletonized dial is heightened by the complications this watch houses. Being able to see the perpetual calendar and moon phase operate without having to take apart the watch is extremely gratifying.

The Ref. 43032 was powered by the skeletonised ultra-thin automatic Cal. 1120 QPSQ which was based on a Jaeger-LeCoultre 920 ebauche.
