Designed to embody the spirit of Japanese refinement, this exquisite ‘pair’ of Calatrava reference 6127G-010 and 7127G-010 in white gold was produced especially for the Japanese market as a limited edition of 300 pairs, each pair presented in a fitted double presentation box to celebrate the Patek Philippe Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Tokyo in 2023. Additional 100 examples of each of the two references were also available for purchase separately. Accompanied by the original double fitted box, Certificates of Origin, and product literature, the present pair of watches offers the very rare opportunity to acquire one of the original matched sets of these exceptional and highly attractive timepieces
The two limited series watches feature a newly designed Calatrava case with two-tier lugs that are intended to invoke the shape of a butterfly’s wings. The men’s Reference 6127G-010, has a case diameter of 36mm, and the lady’s model 7127G-010 has a case diameter of 32mm, both timepieces feature the sublimely beautiful lacquered dial called ‘Laque Poli Bleu’ and ‘Laque Poli Violet’ by Patek Philippe, each watch is also fitted with a matching coloured strap and a white gold pin buckle. The white gold cases are entirely finished by hand in Patek Philppe’s workshops, the solid white gold backs are engraved with the special inscription ‘Patek Philippe Tokyo’. Both timepieces are equipped with Patek Philippe’s smallest manual winding movement, the caliber 215 PS.
