This DB28 TTIS8 tourbillon showcases the De Bethune silicon and platinum tourbillon cage at 6 o’clock, one of the world’s lightest tourbillons, it was patented in 2008, adding a remarkable level of precision and sophistication to the timepiece. The case is made of mirror-polished grade 5 titanium and is extremely comfortable due to both its lightness and the innovative patented (2006) ‘floating lugs’ system that effortlessly adapts to the wearer’s wrist’s size.
The spectcular dial in black mirror-polished steel has a mirror-polished and silver toned minutes ring and black hour ring with mirror-polished steel markers. The tourbillon is visible in the lower half of the dial. The caliber DB2019 manual winding movement provides a five-day power reserve from the self-regulating twin barrel (patented 2004), the state of winding is read from the power reserve indicator on the back of the case.
